Seriously, is there going to be a long wait for this? Just got my letter from CPA Examination Services yesterday…..in all honesty, I was expecting something a little more than the same letter I received for passing the other 3 sections.

How long do these “Boards” take to grudgingly recognize the fact that you passed the exam? This would be the FL BOA. Speaking of which, has anyone ever had a “good” experience dealing with this Board?”

I’m fully expecting them to try to deny me licensure using any means necessary, including simple stalling, if need be. It was difficult enough initially getting them to approve me to take the exam….it took forever and a day, and then when they finally approved me, they didn’t bother to notify me.n

Follow Jeff's advice about downloading the forms that are (hopefully) on your state board's website. I passed my last exam in November and have yet to receive a congratulatory letter from NASBA. I printed the forms from NY's website and mailed them in early December and was notified this week that my license has been issued. Thanks, Jeff!

I can honestly say that I'm proud of the WV Board of Accountancy when it comes to the congratulatory letter and licensure packet. Although we wait an additional week or more for our scores to arrive my snail mail, we get our letter with our final passing score.

This is probably due to the fact that there are no more than 25 examinees successfully completing their fourth exam in any given window.

Congrats! I was looking at your test dates and I'm impressed with your taking (and passing!) three parts in one testing window! Way to go!!

Thank you, Connie. It definitely can be done, it just takes the motivation and a good review course. In my case that review course was Becker, but I've heard great things about others too.

How did you feel about BEC? Good luck in your pursuit.

wvCPAtoBE – I actually felt good coming out of BEC. I wasn't sure what to expect with it being my first exam. I start studying REG this weekend. I'm using Becker along with their Final Review. Thanks for the good luck wishes. Feel like it is such a long road but I'm determined to get it done soon.

TNcandidate1, I got my congrats letter as well from NASBA. It states, “Congratulations on passing the uniform CPA examination (period)”. Seriously?? A period?? How hard is it to put a little line above the dot and make it an exclamation point? I bust my rear for 18 months and not even NASBA shows enthusiasm for passing. Geez…

It gave me information to take the ethics exam, but passed it with 100% (I'm REALLY ethical) on December 10. Another candidate at my work also took the ethics exam, but in her letter it stated she has already passed the ethics exam. I just want that license.

I have yet to recieved anything from the State of Florida or the Congrats letter from NASBA… anyone else from FL get anything?

Thanks for letting me know…. I am just worried it has been over two months since I found out I passed my last one….

No. I have received neither a congratulations letter from NASBA, nor *anything* from the state of Florida, as of January 21.

The only letter I've received is the ordinary letter from CPA Examination Services letting me know I passed AUD. There has been no official acknowledgement from any entity of my passing all 4 sections.

Thanks for the info…. I just got done being bounce around from NASBA and the State, NASBA was saying they sent the information and the State was saying they never got anything, After further questioning with the State, they told me that information was recieved on Tuesday and Lucensure packets will be sent the 1st or second week Feb…… amazing this takes 3 months to get done!! and it is still not over, one more step to go…… very frustrating!@!

The first or second week of FEBRUARY? Honestly, how is this acceptable? It's actually a lot more than 3 months……because let's say we fill out our apps ASAP. You think we are going to be put on the February agenda? Hell no. They'll stretch it out even longer. It will end up being 4, maybe even 5 months, since the date the exam was passed.

What is the excuse? Seriously, I want to know what their excuse is for this. If I behaved this way at my job, I think I would be fired.
