HI all!
I’m finally biting the bullet and applying to sit for the CPA.
I am going through my course credits and have a question about one of the courses I want to count towards my 24 business course hours.
At my University, it was required to take a Business Communications course along with the Accounting degree.
Since I switched to being an Accounting major last minute, I already had a ‘Communicating with Audiences’ course that I had taken. Our Business Department accepted that class as fulfilling my Business Communications requirement.
This class puts me at exactly 24 business course credit hours .
Does anyone know if this situation will be accepted by the Board? (Summarized: I didn’t take Business Comm but my university recognized another Comm class to fulfill that credit, so I would like to use it as a business course)
I also took Statistics but realized the Board will only accept Business Statistics.
Can anyone shed any light on this situation?
Thanks 🙂
