Does anyone know if your scores last forever for new york before applying for the license? Or do they expire after a certain number of years? I just realized last night that I overlooked the experience requirement of working under the supervision of a CPA, and now looks like assuming I pass all exams this year, I would need to look for a new job because my boss is not a CPA. Not a big deal though, because I was thinking of changing jobs anyway.

Please check with your state board. Every state is different, but for example in CA the scores never expires once you pass all 4 in 18 months. Your board will have your state specific rules.

scores last ten years for NY, during that time you will need to complete the work experience. There are threads on it but you will have to sift through it.

I just got an email from NASBA that states that scores for NYS never expire. This was from a state board liason.
