It used to be about 3 months. Anyone know if that’s changed? Thanks!

If you meet the 150 without those classes then I see no reason to include them.
If those credits you earned in high school appear on your undergrad transcript then I see no additional reason to include them.
Worst case scenario here is that they need some additional information and it delays the processing of your application.
Depending on how desperate you are to have that certificate and license number, you may or may not want to cross your T's and dot your i's.
Or leave it in their hands and roll the dice. All your have to lose is time (and stress/worry).

I was approved by the board on 10/1. Processing unit said I may make it into the licensing queue within the next couple of weeks and then to expect another 2-4 weeks for my license to be issued. It is mind boggling how the process can take this long after the board has already approved my application.

People fall into 2 categories… in a rush to get work done, or in a rush to go home.
Which category do you think state employees fall into? It's not like they are paid much as “civil servants”.

I will be sure to post once I receive my license number to give everyone an idea of the current processing time. Anyone get licensed recently?

I actually emailed asking about that, they replied “The date listed on our website isn’t for the CPA Board review, it’s the date we’re processing new mail.”

What is the number you guys are using to call to find out this info? The number on their website says they no longer allow updates through the phone. Thanks!

Did everyone receive an email from the Board once they approved the application?

    @Elle The number is 518-474-3817 x160

I just called and they are still on application date 9/12. No progress in a week I guess…

Called today. Here is my timeline so far:

5/31/19: Form B and Application mailed
    6/5/19: Check paid
(Emailed dept. and figured out my education was missing)
    8/14/19: Education requirements received
9/17/19: Materials forwarded to the board
10/22/19: Approved by board and sent to processing unit. I was told it will take “several weeks” for my license to be issued.

    Gotta love New York

Where can you see where the latest licenses have been issued? I found a license lookup screen on the NYSED website, but I can't see the most current license #'s issued along with the issuance date?

the only way to search for the newest license is to brute force search by license number and keep increasing until you either go past the latest license number, or you find the last one issued.
    Good luck.

I just did this. As of right now the latest license # is 131949. Looks like they have been releasing quite a few lately. Like 50 since last week.
