It used to be about 3 months. Anyone know if that’s changed? Thanks!

My experience was different, but might be somewhat comparable.
15 year pathway, application and experience were all approved April 2017-August 2017 wait.
Once I received my final passing score, my license number was issued within 6 days give or take.
They will just need to confirm that the CPA who signed off on your latest experience was properly licensed and active during the experience period, and then you should be good to go.
I am not sure if they batch all the numbers for one day at once, of it is a live feed type thing.
I would probably just check once a day (or 5 times a day if I were in your shoes).

    Bianca –

I am in the same situation – I sent in my application in August 2018 and just finished my credits as well. They approved all of my documents on 7/18 and sent my information to final processing so now it is just the waiting game.

They said 2-3 weeks so I am being eager and hope I get it tomorrow, but if not I hope I will have it next week.

    Molly,

I was giving them more credit then I guess I should have. They approved my education the same day they received the transcript so I optimistically assumed that they would do the same with form 4B. Now I am compulsively checking the website hourly lol. Hopefully it is sooner then later. Good luck to you!

So the page where it says they are up to 7/9 says it was updated 7/25. I’m not sure if this is the original approval date – my original approval date was 7/18 but I was moved to the top of the July applicants since my original application was sent in August 2018 (I just finished the 150). July 18th my application was sent to final review – so I’m not sure which date this represents, the application date or the final review date. I’m going to guess the application approval date.

Not sure. I'm confused now. I called on Friday and they said they're up to 7/3, but a week earlier they told me they were up to the 1st. It also contradicts the date on the website. Their process is extremely confusing. I assumed it means the date sent to the board.

I just called they said they're up to 7/3. I'm so confused.

So I just called to clarify. The date on that website is the date that they are up to for the initial application approval. Once they get approved at whatever date, they are sent to the board for final review. On the phone she said the board is up to 7/3 regarding the applications that have already been initially approved. Since my documents were approved on 7/18 I have to wait from 7/3-7/18 in final review.

Entire week of 8/5 they were up to 7/3.
Entire week of 8/12 they were up to 7/11.
I thought 8/19 they would be up to 7/18 — but as of 8/19 and 8/20 they are up to 7/12 for final review by the Board.

    Hopefully soon for you!

I had to re-submit my Form-1 and they said it was received 7/29 but not processed yet. I imagine I will be looking at at least another 4-6 weeks.

    Hey

Just out of curiosity, how are you finding out the dates they are up to? are you calling the processing unit 3 ext 270 for this info? Also, when it comes to the “approval date” I only received one approval email. Did anyone else receive multiple approval emails? Just trying to get an idea of the entire process and estimate how much longer this will take.

    thanks!

518 474 3817 x160 — I just say “can you tell me what date the board is up to for final review.” According to your prior post you were sent to the board on 7/22 so you will be licensed once they get up to that date. I would think it would be next week, if not the week after for sure.

Ok. See I don't even know anymore because I was told I was sent to the board on 7/22 but I did not receive the approval email that I was being sent to processing unit 3 until 8/14. I guess it is just a waiting game. It is strange though as they have only been issuing 1 license # per day. The week of 8/5 they did not even issue one license as per their online verification. I have gotten to that point of crazy ! lol Well I hope it is soon for all of us.

Seems the issue is with the processing unit. I was sent to the board in the last week of June and received an email in the first week of August saying my license would be issued in 3-4 weeks.

A grand total of 3 license numbers have been issued beginning the week of 8/5.
