NYS License – Time to Process - Page 60

    Please forgive me if this has been asked before, but how long does it generally take the NY state board to approve the additional 30 credits outside of the original required 120 to sit? I need to send in my additional 30 credits from 3 separate universities. Hoping this isn't too much of a hassle. Any advice is appreciated!

    Full application was received: 11/26/18
    Application forwarded to the board: 12/13/18
    License number on the site: 2/27/19

    As of today, they are on applications submitted to the board on 1/14/19!

    how does it work with the license? do i actually get a physical license or they just issue my license number

    You will get a license number and then a certificate will be mailed to you.

    I called 3/4 they told me my application had been forwarded on 2/25

    Mine was forwarded on the 26th so I guess were in the same boat. they didnt say where the board is upto?

    As of yesterday, they told me the board approved mine (YAY!) and mine was sent to them on 2/7… they did say that now it was being sent to “Processing Unit 3” for a final review? and that it could take a few more weeks before i get my certificate in the mail *sigh*

    Interesting. Mine was forwarded to the board on 1/18/19, I wonder what my status is. Anyone know how long after board approval it takes for your name to appear on the website?

    Question is once the board approves you they issue a license number already? or only when they mail the certificate?

    License # is posted to NYS website before you receive your certificate.
