It used to be about 3 months. Anyone know if that’s changed? Thanks!

When I sent my transcripts last year to get evaluated NASBA, I think I emailed again after about a week or 2 to make sure they got them, and then received a reply confirming that I met the 150 hour rule and to notify them once I passed the exams. I'm dealing with Biggerstaff now, so maybe I'm looking at what…2021 for the license?

Also, probably completely insignificant but don't want to waste time re-sending, but my supervisor put a little white-out over the name of the firm's “City” – is this going to be an issue or should he just write up a new one?

Dont expect any emails, at least from nys. And dont go more than 2-3 days without following up with nasba. See my earlier posts about issues

@cpatang- Did you start a new application or anything when sending in your second transcript or you just told your school to send the last part in and nasba will know what to do with it?

Just called again, got a different woman, and was told 4/3 again. I wish there was someone to contact about this nonsense. I refuse to believe that 4/3 had this many applicants.

4/3 still. Best of luck to those who just passed. You wont be getting your licenses until 2019.

What's that now…7 business days stuck on the same date? LOL. You can't make it up.

I remember they blew through the March apps in like 3 days and now this.

Someone else should call because at this point, I am starting to think this woman is screwing with me.

I did call at about 4:30 EST and the woman said it 4/3 still. I'm pretty pissed. My date is 4/9.

It was a different woman than I have ever spoken to, which lends some credence to the theory that the 1 person who reviews applications is on vacation.

If reassurance's information from his/her previous posts is accurate, it's almost certain that it's a single person reviewing and that it is a simple and quick process. I can't think of any other possibilities for how they can approve as few as 2 applications in one week to as many as 115 in another. The other thing that seems to be certain is that there is almost a complete lack of protocol, oversight and accountability at this point in the process for that to even be possible.

Everyone is paying $377 for what should be a click of a button for approval. Thats the frustrating part. There is no thought necessary. There are certain parameters that need to be met in order to be a CPA. At that price per applicant, there is no reason to not have sufficient staffing to get this to be less than 3 months for certification.

Has anyone asked to speak with a supervisor to see what the issue is? In the end it doesnt really matter because we are at their mercy, but I am curious what is going on.

I think you guys might be getting bad info.

My date was a few days after 4/3/18 and they approved my license according to the system. I forgot to ask which date they are on for you guys, so maybe give a call again?
