    Hey everyone,

I graduated from college in May with my 150 hour requirement. I’ve applied to get my NTS with no problem, but I was looking over the educational requirements for NY State and I have a few questions.

I haven’t taken a computer accounting class (I took a course that used SAP, does that count?).

I took a Writing in Business and Business Communication, will that satisfy the Accounting and Business Comm. requirement?

My “intermediate” classes were called “Financial Accounting Information Systems 1-3”, will this be a problem?

I know this seems like a lot i just don’t want to run into any problems when it comes time to apply for the license after i pass all of the sections (who knows when that will be)

The New York Board is a nightmare to work with. I'd get written confirmation from them before you get too deep, regardless of the advice you get from anyone here.

I imagine you went to an accredited school? I mean most accounting classes require the use of a computer. If you majored in accounting, most likely you probably fulfilled all of the requirements.
