Notice to Schedule Dumb Question!?

I am under the Georgia jurisdiction and need to re-apply for a notice to schedule. I am just wondering if I can register for one section at a time, since I currently don’t have the funds to pay for all 4 parts of the CPA exam while paying for the NTS application fee. I plan on scheduling for AUD now (to take in July), and then scheduling for FAR at a later date as a separate transaction (to take in November). Can this be done, or will I have to pay for both AUD and FAR once I apply for the NTS on the NASBA website? Thanks.

In Illinois, you can apply for one NTS at a time. I believe that is standard across the board. Good luck!

NTS per part is $30 right?

Sure you can pay it one at a time.

That's the mistake I made last Jan. I paid 2 parts in one. When I needed to schedule AUD soon, I could not pay just one part. The system was asking for $398+ while I could only afford for 1 part.

I'm in GA and you can absolutely apply for one at a time. You will pay more overall, though, since you get discounts when you apply for multiple sections. Here are the GA application fees (they might be the same across the board, I don't know).

    1 examination section $ 65.00

    2 examination sections $ 80.00

    3 examination sections $ 95.00

    4 examination sections $ 110.00

    AUD: 82
    FAR: 78
    BEC: 75
    REG: 8/1 score release!!
