Has anyone used Accounting Information Systems as part of the required 30 credits in accounting to sit for the CPA exam (NC candidate)? I took it at the grad level, but the website states that “Accounting courses include such courses as principles courses at the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels; managerial accounting; business law; cost accounting; fund accounting; auditing; and taxation.”

Just wondering if I should take another 3 credits prior to applying.

When I applied to sit for the exam in NC a few months ago, I used an AIS course for my 30 credits. You can call to be sure, though.
