I am on my last exam (BEC-scheduled in May) and I just found out my husband has been transferred from Georgia (where I have been sitting to get licensed) to Texas. I researched online and found that there are two additional exams needed in Texas; an ethics exam and a Texas open book exam. Do these need to be completed within the 18 month window of passing your CPA exams? I was not able to find anything about that.
Also does anyone know if its better to just apply for my CPA license in Georgia and then apply for reciprocity rather than transferring the exam credits?
I will lose credit for FAR in June, so it only gives me one shot to pass BEC and not much time to take additional tests. Any advice is welcome. thanks!
