To begin, I’ve previously posted on this topic, but realized at the time I did not really specify my experience / situation as anything more than “corporate accounting”

I was wondering if anyone has fulfilled the 3-year experience requirement, and could lend insight into any of the following:

    1) The nature of your work

Right now I’m at 3 years of non-entry level work (on an FP&A team), which has included various responsibilities: Audit assistance, implementing controls on some processes, valuation of certain BS accounts, tons of consolidation work.

    2) CPA as direct supervisor

Due to the nature of attrition/restructuring, I haven’t always had a CPA/the same CPA as my immediate supervisor. Does direct mean immediate, or within your department?

    3) How much detail was required on your application

    4) If the MA BoPA is generally strict or liberal with this

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! 🙂

I think your best bet is to call the board and ask for definitions. I'm not sure I've ever come across anybody who got the non reporting license without a masters.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
