Licensure- Certification Issue

I worked for a CPA firm and was let go for performance reasons after meeting the minimum hour requirements. It appears that nobody in a position to advocate for me at the old firm would want to send a document to the state board basically certifying that I am competent enough to be a CPA. I achieved strong grades in college, passed the cpa exam, and have done reasonably well in my current role (not diverse enough for CPA licensure). Would appreciate any tips on finishing the process.

You can try the NASBA verification if your state allows it.
I'm curious to hear more about your last job and why no one at the firm would sign off for you. That sounds pretty serious.

Also curious to know what type of roll you are in now, and why it would not qualify for the experience. Do you have a CPA in your current organization?
    What state are you in?
