I did my undergrad in CT and when I applied to take the exam I applied in CT because I don’t think I meet NYS education requirements. I only have three credits of finance and I’m pretty sure NY requires six. Since CT didn’t I applied to the CT board. I live in NY and work in NY – does it matter if I’m certified in another state? Is there a reason why I should get licensed in NY after I complete the test (under the degree of reciprocity I belive its called?)
Thanks!
