I just found out I passed my final exam in NC. I have 150+ credit hours of education and 7 years of private accounting experience. My wife has convinced me to move to Ohio within the next year. Should I apply for certification in NC or OH? Will it matter?

No, it does not matter unless you are going to (1) sign tax returns or (2) sign an audit report.

Ohio has a residency requirement, so I would get the license in North Carolina while you're still there. I'm from Ohio and applied to take the exam through Ohio, but I had to get the license in Utah since I had moved here.

    FAR - 76 (1/12)
    AUD - 76 (5/12)
    BEC - 82 (11/12)
    REG - 59, 73, 73, 78! (4/12, 8/12, 10/12, 2/13)

Wiley test bank on everything, Roger USB+book on REG after first attempt.
