Jeff, I took BEC in PA in this last testing window. It seems like everyone who I know or have heard rom in PA has received their scores.

I have not received my score. Is there an explanation for this or a reason why? I am beside myself right now about this.

    NovaFinal,

Is PA a NASBA state? If so, have you taken any other tests prior to this BEC test? If not, you may want to call and inquire because they may have your birthdate incorrect or something like that.

Since I moved servers – my jeff@another71.com might not work now…thanks for the heads up.

    Two scenarios:

Most likely: You're in Wave 2.5 which means you're borderline (72-78 based on my experience in tracking this) and you'll get your score within 5 business days after Wave 2 was released.

Less likely: they have more BEC scores to release that are not borderline (just like REG was released in 2 segments for Wave 2).

I found myself without a score once after Wave 2 have come and gone…I got my score 5 days later.

I hope that alleviates at least a little anxiety, but I doubt it.

    Jeff,

Actually, it kind of does in a way. If I am between 72-78, my chances have improved to a 50% chance of passing haha.

I guess I am just confused because there were definitely people here who posted that their scores were in that range. Or does that not matter. Any thoughts?

Thanks Jeff for all your help!

    CPYAY,

I called them but they weren't much help. I'll try again tomorrow.

I knew it sounds weird and I don't completely understand the ins and outs of the Wave 2.5, but people usually score in that range.

Happen to me with REG. I ended up with a 78.

If it is the case that borderline scores are in Wave 2.5, why do some people who scored 74-76 already have their score? I thought that would mean *all* borderline would be in 2.5.

I would guess that it has to do with a combination of variables. The grading models are fairly complex regardless of what the AICPA says…
