Is there a limited number of attempts for each section in California?

I was hoping someone can clear this up for me. I always thought you may retake the exam as many times as you wish. However, under the “Credit Status Information” tab I’ve noticed this column named “Attempts Remaining.” My application is still in process and no NTS received yet. I guess once I get my first section scheduled I’ll be able to see how many attempts I got remaining. But for now, can someone please let me know how many attempts do we get for each section? Thanks!

    AUD - 11/23/2011 - 84
    FAR - 02/22/2012 - 76 (I'll take it!)
    REG - 08/31/2012

I'm pretty sure its unlimited. You just need to pass all four in 18-month window like everyone else.

Im in California, and when i log in and view the status tab, I dont have anything that says attempts remaining. I've got these columns:

Exam Section, Score, Credit Status, Last Date of Credit Period, Exam Type, Exam Date, Exam ID, Application #

Under “Credit Status”, the only options are Expired, Credit, No Credit. But again, nothing about attempts remaining.

Interesting, as I've got 9 columns instead of 8:

    BEC - 10/12/2011 - 78
    AUD - 11/23/2011 - 84
    FAR - 02/22/2012 - 76 (I'll take it!)

Could this be related to the ethics exam? I believe you only get 3 attempts to pass the ethics exam.

It could be related to the ethics exam, but it's not even listed there.
