Hello Everyone,

I have recently relocated to NY from the United Kingdom where I did a honors in Accounting and Finance. After which I also completed all my ACCA papers and am now an ACCA affiliate.

I am in the process of making my application for my CPA exams however I am not too sure I am eligible to sit for the exams.

Are the 150 hours a requirement to get licensed or also for sitting for the exams?

Will my ACCA be recognised at all towards my credits? I read somewhere that the evaluation company does give 4 credits for each ACCA exam you write.

Also, if I do not meet the requirement what is the best way to earn more credit? Can someone suggest a cheap but recognizable institute/University?
