I currently live and work in Northwest Indiana just a few minutes from the Illinois border.

Illinois requires only one year of experience for license where as Indiana requires two. Is there anything in process that would prevent me from going through Illinois for the testing and license, then applying for an Indiana license with my Illinois one?
