    Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here.

So here is my situation. I graduated with my bachelor’s in accounting last year. I have 26 accounting credit hours and 126 total credit hours. Now, this part may seem far-fetched, but trust me it is legitimate and works: a coworker of mine was in the same situation, only 120 credit hours but had 27 accounting hours. So he applied to take the exams through Kentucky (they only require 120 credit hours and 27 accounting hours to take the exam). He then applied for his CPA through Colorado (they only require 120 and 27 to become certified). He then transferred his CPA to Ohio (where we live) through reciprocity (Ohio requires 150 and 27). If you have not already realized, my issue is that I only have 26 accounting hours, but need 27 take the exam through Kentucky. I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations for an online 1 credit accounting class. I would prefer the college to be located in Ohio (preferably the Cincinnati area), but I realize it is online so any state will do.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You're going to need 150 credits to licensed in KY, don't waste time with a 1 credit class when you need 24 more credits to receive a license in KY.

nevermind I understand now you are going to sit in CO

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

Just a few points. Do you meet the experience requirement (1800 hours under a licensed CPA) for CO?

Also you don't need to apply first in KY, you can apply in CO and get your NTS but actually take the exams in KY or OH.

    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Can't help with class but can tell you I live in Colorado and our rules change July 2015 so make sure you have everything complete before then. Also, there has been a change in the amount of credit hours required in the accounting area. You can look them up on the state accountancy board.

    Good luck!

    Here we go......?

    REG - April 06, 2013 PASSED
    AUD
    FAR
    BEC

Google community colleges in Ohio and take one.

I spent 3 hours one afternoon googling CA community colleges, after I thought I graduated, for two freshman history classes that apparently my advisor never told me I hadn't taken yet. Found one 4 hours away that transferred to my uni and both were 6 week online classes. Try it.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83
