Illinois Excel Award

    After getting a 93% on BEC with only two weeks preparation in February, I am thinking of going for the Illinois Excel award by averaging 90% for all four tests in only 2 windows. Usually only about 20 people out of Illinois 1,500 or so annual new CPA’s win this award and I think it would be nice to have. However, that would mean taking (and dominating) all three tests in the next window which is pretty intense.

    -Does anybody know if you can retake an exam you already passed? Then I could take AUD and FAR in the April/May window, then REG and retake BEC in the July/August window?

    -Does anybody have knowledge on the Illinois CPA’s society specific requirements for this award to know if that would qualify?

    @badger_2012 averaged above a 90 if I remember correctly.

    REG- 91
    AUD- 97
    BEC- 91
    FAR- May

    You want to take Bec Again?

    I would assume the award is for first time attempts.

    I believe most awards within the CPA societies community are for first time attempts like cpa runner mentioned.
