Anyone else out there waiting for IL scores? I’m waiting on FAR, and a friend is waiting on BEC. Does anyone know how long it takes for the board to post after the AICPA releases? Jeff expects a BEC release from AICPA today. 🙂

I just got a paper that said “failed. Try again next time…” well not literally that, but basically. IL isn't a NASBA state though. Do you mean the AICPA?

I think AICPA sends it directly to IL and the tech guy there plugs them all in to the computer and we just wait… If all people with new sims are still waiting, there is going to have to be a second release, I'm guessing. Right??? I have no idea. But I really want to go to the AICPA and demand my score!

How did you guys feel about your sims? I have to admit mine seemed pretty difficult.

Waiting to be a CPA – From watching this the last few months I think the release for us goes; AICPA, NASBA, IL BOE. I always thought it was; AICPA, BOE, but I think from what I read it does get passed through NASBA. I never seen a passing score so I am not sure what they send. It is hard to speculate since no where the process is clear.

Give me that Beckyy – I have taken AUD 4x so when I got to the sims I was glad to see something different. I felt they were managable. I know I wasn't 100%, but I worked through them better than anytime before. I have bombed every sim section I have taken in the past. The ironic part of getting your score held for sims. :O)

I am giving up for the evening. A lot of the other states are posting. I just checked and still the same ole message “waiting for score.” I will be back to work before dawn so I am sure I will talk to everyone tomorrow. Try to get some rest!

Hey IL candidate…took Audit on 2/19/10 and it is hopefully my final section. Has any of you fellow scoreless compradres contacted the IL Board for any kind of explanation in regards to if they have our scores and/or when we could see them?

Jimmy: If you read back a couple pages a couple people called.

Soanxious: I know IL isn't a NASBA state, that's why a bunch of scores went out today. The NASBA states still haven't heard anything back yet. Who knows where our scores are…

I'll talk to you all tomorrow! Hopefully everyone gets some sleep and good luck tomorrow with work and scores!

Waiting to be a CPA – Thanks! It stinks going back to work and thinking I might get my score there and it might not be the one I want. I think back in the beginning of this forum someone said even though we are independant that our scores still pass through NASBA. It could be a bunch of hooha though. I always assumed they came directly from the AICPA. I feeling pretty frustrated with this right now. Today should be interesting. I hope we can find out if there is going to be another small release or what. And no scores as of when I checked this morning. BOO!!!!!!!!!

Still nothing. I wish I could understand the logic as to why our score have not been released.

Jeff- do you have any insight or reassuring words for us?

Okay, so I called NASBA and she said they don't see our scores at all (trying to confirm if NASBA is in the middle of our score release (between AICPA and IL) or not and it looks like not). She did say we should be seeing scores within 24 hours. So..not sure if we can trust this information or not, but it is something to go on I guess.

If someone would just tell us when our scores would be released, I would be able to relax. But no….they just leave us hanging with no explaination. I am getting to old for this. I have 4 grown kids between 25-32 and they are wondering why their mom is acting like a nutcase!

ILCPAGirl – I understand trust me! This is just insane. They should be able to have an announcement board somewhere. I liked how IL used to post a notice that they received 40% of the section and would update it as they came in. They took that notice away sometime after 5/09. They really didn't use it in 11-12/09 and now it is gone from where it used to be. Once I seen that and didn't have a score I new I must not have been included and they didn't have everything yet. I don't know what else to do but wait.

Try to keep your self pre-occupied (I know it is hard). At least we are all not alone going through this. And if you need to vent I will listen. :O)

    Thanks for calling, Soanxious!

As of now, I really don't know how this works anymore. Little elves and fairies could have our tests for magic scoring of new sims as far as I'm concerned… This is just ridiculous.
