Anyone else out there waiting for IL scores? I’m waiting on FAR, and a friend is waiting on BEC. Does anyone know how long it takes for the board to post after the AICPA releases? Jeff expects a BEC release from AICPA today. 🙂

Soanxious, I am right there with you. PISSED! I had a nervous breakdown at school and had to leave. This is seriously the most ridiculous experience of my life.

Someone in the other forum from 1/2 is still waiting from CA (who released before us). Maybe the other person that already got their score from 1/4 didn't have a new sim like we did so they got released right away.

I have given up worrying and checking! just rest assured that you took it and the slow release has no effect on your score! Just be confident!

I am doing the same. I am listening to a study lecture and just checking here and there. I am going to suppose it will magically appear or there is going to be a wave 1b sometime and maybe it will be in there. Here we flipp'n go again!

NYCPAtrying – Thanks! I got a raw deal when I took my exam. I walked out feeling good, thinking I would only have to wait for a few weeks, I was in a class so I knew I would be busy and it would go by fast and the examiners said “sucka – your scores is ours now and we are not giving it back for many, many months.” They have released almost 13,000 scores and not one of them mine. Unbelievable!

Has anyone waiting on their Illinois score tried the loophole?

I passed BEC in Feb. and have been waiting for my AUD score (took it on 3.1.2010)

Well anyways, I tried the loophole trick with Illinois

Went to https://www.ilboa.org/egateway.html

Signed in / Online Applications / Re-examination request / Click Next / type in SSN, click next / click next again

Then it took me to a screen and my only two choices are FAR and REG

Not sure if this means I passed or not, but Illinois people waiting on there score should give it a try and see what happens? Might just mean they are still waiting on my score until I am allowed to apply again.

Beckyy: Yeah I think you are not allowed to try to retake until they get your score… And I don't think they have even gotten our scores at all.

Soanxious: Seriously this is like a sick, twisted joke.

So are we waiting for the AICPA to release more scores then?

The only other thing I can say is, if they are holding our scores to give us a higher grade (passing) then they can take as long as they want.

And thus my name “waiting” to be a cpa… Because the wait is worse and you spend more time waiting for the score than studying for the exam.

Mine has only had BEC on there since January to reapply (I have apps out on the other two). The candidates that are using that are going through OH. I never read too much into the screen not offering AUD again because it says on the top of one of the pages that you can't reapply until your exam has been graded. I thought in the last wave that they said that the OH loop hole didn't work for IL (I could be wrong though), and you had to be waiting for you last section. I am still trying to pass the first one.

Waiting to be a CPA – I was trying to figure this out techinically as to what is going on. In wave 1 when the scores didn't arrive we knew we were waiting for wave 1b, or c. I can only think that means we are waiting for more to be released. Unless (my last ounce of hope) when NASBA releases the rest tonight around 10:00 ours are going to appear. The lady at the board today said that they only receive the paper score there. So if that is true NASBA loads to the IL website maybe via electronic transfer (I am only guessing here). I always pictured it as a file is sent to IL and the tech guy there kicks it out.

The paper form must come electronically to them and they print it out. When you pass do you still receive the fancy paper that says pass and score on it? When you fail you get that on the front and the diagnostic on the back. The paper must be how they know how many they got, maybe?
