Anyone else out there waiting for IL scores? I’m waiting on FAR, and a friend is waiting on BEC. Does anyone know how long it takes for the board to post after the AICPA releases? Jeff expects a BEC release from AICPA today. 🙂

I know the feeling! After Jeff posted that we are now even closer my stomach just turned. I did one study lecture so far, vacumed the house, and cleaned the fridge. I am going to run out of projects to keep me busy here soon (beside studying)!

I have been totally useless today. My husband is out of town on business and keeps texting and calling to see if I have received my score. He keeps telling me “I know you passed”. Please let it be true, because all I feel like doing now is crying and I am sick to my stomach.

Jeff – I am only on seven I couldn't imagine & you have a family! I am trying to hold out on the family part until I am done except I keep getting older too fast or this is taking too long.

ILCPAGirl – My husband just, just walked by and said ‘you had to pass.” I won't believe it until I see it.

    Jeff,

I am in IL and I have not received my REG score yet. Some forum members reported that their REG scores were available the same day AICPA released them (2 days ago). Do you know if NASBA released all REG scores?

    Jeff,

I just counted how many times I have taken the exam. 10x. I just hope it is the LAST TIME!

I really love your forum….It is so nice to vent with people who really understand what we go through.

It is! I don't work with any future CPA's. I have a floor of auditors from one of the big four firms that I work with so occassionally I will meet one of the first years just starting the process. They have so much more exposure than me so it is hard to compare. Everyone I work with took it 20 years ago. All I hear from them is about “be glad you don't have to take it all in one weekend.” So I have never met anyone going through this. I am so glad I found this site – you have no idea!!!

My first husband took the pencil/paper exam in the 80's so I remember all the waiting for the results. He passed on the first try. My second husband is also a CPA and took the pencil/paper exam and passed on the first try. So, with me failing multiple times….I just want to kick myself. He trys to understand is and is very supportive, but I know that he is losing patience.

Vitaliy191 – I would contact the IL BOE to find out what's going on.

ILCPAGirl – I know the feeling. We met 10 years ago and I restarted school from my undergrad up to masters / this 9 years ago. He is pretty sick of my head being in the books after 9 years. He has been supportive but wants his wife back! :O)

Soanxious, I totally understand. I have worked in accounting for over 25 years but never received my undergrad degree. I quit work in 2006 to go back to school full-time and have been at it ever since. Waiting to get the CPA before heading back to work. I am really tired of studying…and I know that my husband really wants me to finish so we can get our lives back.
