I am a Washington State candidate. In December I passed the final exam. Last week I sent the application package with all required documents.

How long will it take to be registered as a CPA and receive my wall certificate? Just a ballpart figure. Two weeks? One month? Two months? Three months?n

I just received my license through the California state board earlier today. It took about 5 weeks from the day I sent in my application to the day I received my license number.

BEC - Passed, AUD - Passed, REG - Passed, FAR - Passed, CA Ethics - Passed

I just talked to the fl board today and she said that they just received the scores today and the license packets won't be going out until the 23rd or the 30th. I'm betting my mid may we'll have them.

The best thing is to call your board. I talked to the LA board the other day & again this morning. They walked me through the process of applying now instead of waiting for anything to be sent to you & called me today for clarification on my experience. I must say they were very polite, helpful & congratulatory – a far cry from the rude & inept person I spoke to a month or so ago. The board meets here every 3 months so if I didn't get it in to them now, it would be no sooner than early August before they would have anything official.

    Guccimane,

It took about 30 days. The best way to find out the status of your certificate is to call or e-mail your contact at TSBPA.

I received the congrats letter from the State board today. It was dated 04/07 & sent through CPA exam services with an application for licensure attached. I am glad I didn't wait for this, the board here meets in a week & a half & had I waited, would have to wait over 3 months for the next board meeting. Calling the state board is always a good idea.

Can someone please let me know long this process takes in WA State? I've completed the exams (including ethics exam) and have had my experience verified by a CPA. I plan to mail in my application at the end of the week. Just wondering how long it takes before I will get my license.

to update on my earlier post, after i received the licensure packet (not through florida) i submitted it along with the information i had. It then took 3 weeks for my score to finally post on florida's website and my license was issued the next day. Now, the only thing i can't find is how to get my wall certificate from Florida. No information provided from them whatsoever.

Everything in LA seems to be a 3 week cycle. 3 weeks from the end of the window to get grades (Nasba state), 3 weeks from the time I sent off the applocation until I heard back that it was approved, 3 weeks to get the certificate that I received today. Now I can finally take a breath.

I'm in NC, just mailed my license application (10/14/10), I'll update this post when I hear back from the board and receive my certificate.

Any other NC applicants out there that can share how long the process took, it said on the auto reply after they received my packet that it could take a minimum of 60 days.

NcEric41, do you have an update? I am having to jump through some hoops as far as licensing on some things that I did not think to be particularly relevant per the guidelines they have spelled out.
