How long does Florida take to go from applying to testing?

Hope that question makes sense. I will be completing 120 hrs next spring, about end of April/early May. I have a Big 4 internship out of state starting in early June. My plan is to do a slow and steady study during the whole Spring semester, apply for a NTS as soon as I complete the 120 hrs and they show up on my transcript, and then try to schedule and take an exam in the month of May, before I go to the internship. This leaves me about a months time to get all this done. Do you guys think that is feasible? Worse case scenario, I can take it in July during the internship, or August after its over, but I may be busy during the internship even though its summer, and I was hoping to knock out one section as early as possible (FAR, AUD, or REG because I will be taking classes pertaining to those in the Spring).

Any experience/help with this would be great.

if your internship is out of state do you plan on applying in florida or out of state?

I applied for Florida and it took about 7-10 days to get approved. the key is making sure you apply as soon as grades are posted to transcripts – not when your degree shows up.

    REG - 76 (7/13)
    FAR - 83 (8/13)
    BEC - 87 (10/13)
    AUD - 84 (1/14)

I plan to do Florida for licensure for two reasons:

    1. While I plan to do a few years out of state at a Big 4, this is mainly just to do the typical young person in a big city thing. Ultimately, if my family stays in FL, I will probably end up back here. Although with reciprocity I know it really doesn't matter the license you have.

    2. This is the main reason, but to apply for licensure in the state I plan to move to, you need 150 hrs, and I want to have the whole thing done before then so I can relax, travel, and adjust to life in a new city before working FT, without having to worry about the exam.

7-10 days is a lot quicker than I thought. When it gets closer, I will see if there are ways to expedite the process, or just check daily until it shows up on my official transcript that I have 120 hrs.
