Hawaii CPA License Application Question

This might be a dumb question but on my application for my CPA license it says to “submit certified transcripts with official seal of the educational institution”. Does anyone know if this means to submit “sealed” transcripts directly from the college or would unsealed official transcripts be ok?

I think this is as it was in Florida. You send them into the state board, but they must still have the original seal from your institution.

In MA if the transcripts are unsealed they absolutely will not be accepted.

Yes. Sealed. Do not open them. Gather them up and send them all to the State. I learned this the hard way and had to request (and pay for) duplicates. Don't be a dumb dumb like me.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

Usually you can have transcripts sent directly to the institution that is requesting them. This is the best way so you don't need to handle them.
