Hello,

I am starting down the CPA road and wonder if anyone can provide insight. I’ve emailed the Secretary of State office but have not received a response.

-Is a full time accounting internship (ACC107) for which you receive credit counted toward the 30 semester hour requirement?

-Is there an opportunity to have transcripts reviewed prior to submitting an application?

@D-Marie You should be able to contact someone at the GA State Board to see to whom you should send your transcript for evaluation. Just remember that the state board has to receive the transcript in an envelope that has NOT been opened. When I applied for my license, I requested two copies of my transcript. One was for me to have and the other to forward to the state board.

I think I've started to move in the right direction and wanted to update my post in the event it may be helpful to someone else.

I emailed the NASBA Georgia Coordinator and have been advised to scan and email the transcripts for review.

I wonder if I can have my transcripts reviewed for the licensing. I'm still in school, and if something is missing I can take extra classes.
