Exam Location Question

    Hello guys,

New here, had a question about CPA testing locations. I will be applying for a FL license, though after graduation I will most likely not be in FL, at least for a few years. I’m applying for FL licensure 1) because I can sit with 120 hrs, and 2) I may ultimately work most of my career in FL. I wanted to squeeze in my first section in the month between finishing classes in late April/early May and starting my out of state internship in June, but this might not be enough time to send in all my stuff, get an NTS, etc (if anyone can comment on this that would be great as well). If that doesn’t work, the earliest I could take it is July, which would be during my internship, out of state. Am I able to do this? Physically take the exam in a state other than the one I’m applying to be licensed in? I wanna finish the exam as soon as possible because I would really like to relax or travel the summer after my grad program before I start full time in the fall.

Thanks in advance for the help

Yes, you can do this. I am working on a CT license but physically took all my exams in MA.

Awesome, thats great news. Worst case scenario, I'd take my first section early July in the state I'm interning, best case I get an NTS and am able to schedule it in May, before the internship.
