Is there a way to have your education requirements checked before actually paying and scheduling an exam. I have been looking around all over, but according to the NASBA site you have to pay first. Is this right?

Just call your state board and tell them exactly what you have, they answered every one of my questions when I called.

In KY, it's the state board that checks the education requirements, anyway, so I sent my transcripts to them and they approved me to take the exam, before I had to pay for any exams…I'm in a non-NASBA state, but I'm sure like dutkas said that your state board can tell you if you qualify or not. 🙂

I agree with everybody over here. Just email your state board for every minute detail you are not aware of. I am in the state of NC where you can sit within 120 days of your graduation from your undergraduate provided you complete the accounting requirement and submit your transcript within 120 days. I took this option and I kept bugging the state board to confirm my understanding.
