I am currently working and living outside of IL, I didn’t see anywhere on the IDFPR specifiying about residency requirements (I might overlooked). Do I have to be a resident in IL in order to obtain IL CPA liscense and using CPA designation?

    Thank you!!

I dont recall but it might say it on the licensure application that u can download from the idfpr. There is also a phone number listed which within one hour will connect you with someone who in my case was pretty knowledgeable and could definitely answer ur question. U do need one year oif basically any type of business experience doesnt have to b accounting and u will need someone to sign off on it and they dont need to b a cpa.
