Reciprocity application wasn't too bad. In addition to the application form I needed to submit all college transcripts, CPE documentation (showing Ethics course completion), and work experience verification to NASBA to have them evaluated. I applied 1/7/17 and got my license # the last week of March. Good luck!

    Ryan – Just Another Dollar,

If you have the time and patience, would you mind detailing out your step-by-step process of how you applied for reciprocity to CO, including sites navigated, forms, required docs, etc. I am already a licensed CPA in TX and not sure exactly what to provide, especially when it comes to the CPE credits since my accrual period doesn't start until next year (2018).

If I had a better memory I'd definitely provide more detail, but if you figured out how to pass the CPA exam this one should be a breeze :P. From what I remember it's all laid out pretty clearly on the NASBA website (https://www.mycpalicense.org/) since that's where the CO board makes everyone apply. In my first submission I forgot to include the CPE worksheet (NASBA provides with application materials) and someone from NASBA reached out to me via email to make sure I had taken the AICPA ethics course when I was licensed in my first state. Once we had that taken care of it was smooth sailing.

Is it necessary to submit transcripts and experience verification?
