So how long did it take others in Colorado to receive their license from initial application? I submitted my application on December 16 and am still waiting. I did receive an email today so that my application had been approved and that it was being prepared for transmission to the Board. Hopefully soon, but it seems like it’s taking much longer than anticipated

33689 was the last one issued if anyone cares how far away they were from the end of the list. I only know your usernames but I'm pretty sure i found one of yours while looking for the last # issued! A few things matched right up. You (you know who you are, if i am right) almost didnt make it! Wow!

Going to figure out later how many they had in an avg month vs June. Will post the results.

    Happy day!

Interesting piece of information, Coloradorit. Again, thanks and congratulations to anyone who made it in time.

With regards to AICPA membership, Licensure is enough to qualify. You only need 150 credits if you are not yet licensed. That's how I read the requirements.

Cannot figure out how many were issued because there is a gap in the #s. No matter. Congratulations again, everyone! And many, many thanks.

Congrats Colorado CPAS! Mine went through on 6/19. I read something online that you have to meet the 150 hours requirement to join the AICPA if you pass the exam after January 1, 2013. Does anyone have any more info on this?

    FAR - 87 11/15/14
    AUD - 88 1/26/15
    REG - 91 4/6/15
    BEC - 86 5/11/15

I thought that was the case as well, but scroll up 3 posts for an opposing view. 🙂

I don't really get the benefits of membership. You get discounts, you adhere to their code, i don't see the big deal. What am i missing? Or is it just that – people like that you have to adhere to that code as well?

Woohoo! Mine has updated as well!! Expiration updated and I am listed under DORA. Looks like the last one is 33703. There are some gaps between license numbers. Congrats to all!!
