So how long did it take others in Colorado to receive their license from initial application? I submitted my application on December 16 and am still waiting. I did receive an email today so that my application had been approved and that it was being prepared for transmission to the Board. Hopefully soon, but it seems like it’s taking much longer than anticipated

Initial. They told me qa was only signatures and dates and the like.

Yes! I need to make D Bar reservations to celebrate. (Mmmmmm…. D Bar)

I was also worried about them finding a problem with my education but they told me that if I passed the initial evaluation, there's no way they would come back on an education deficiency.

    Good luck!

That's great! Fingers crossed then. I realized I couldn't be applying for licensure in Colorado at a worse time (took all the tests and got my experience in Wyoming but had a better job offer here) lol but hopefully it works out! And Yes D Bar is A-MAZE-ING 🙂

hi all – long time lurker, first time poster. Going through the application process too, thought I would chime in.

    5/28 – submitted application

6/15 – received email that application passed initial evaluation stage

6/17 – received email that I passed QA, eligible for licensure

6/24 – received email that my application is approved

I haven't received an email about my license yet, but have any of you logged into mycpalicense.org? I see my license #, just can't search it on dora yet.

Yes, still don't have a license #. When you call that 866 # for an update, it says you can check that site for an update, but the only update that site will show is your license # once it's issued. I'm supposed to be approved today (fingers crossed). Wow, they took a lot longer a month ago – they must be really rushing.

ahh, ok, I didn't call so I hadn't thought to log into that site until yesterday. I was definitely getting antsy because I was following this thread and saw everyone else getting their stuff approved faster.

Hope you get approved today, it's like sitting on pins & needles waiting for their emails!

Hi, first time poster…almost same time line as jsMTBco. I saw my license number in mycpalicense.org but for some weird reason it says EXPIRED in red besides the license ID at the very top of the page right above the words Jurisdiction: Colorado (Initial License). I see n/a under expiration date in the table at the middle of the page though. Nothing is showing up in DORA yet. Any one else have similar problem?

Still haven't gotten the board email. They're not picking up the phone. Getting worried.

karjanr – I think it just takes a while to update. Mine said that earlier but I just checked again & it gives the license # and expiration date now.

ETA: Still not in DORA but I read above that it can take longer for that to update.

mycpalicense.org shows a license number and expiry date of 11/30/2015 now. The EXPIRED part has disappeared …

Not showing up yet in DORA though.

@katjanr, you're fine then. Can take a while to show up in DORA. Congratulations!

Should i be panicking??? No email. It's 4. The board only meets fridays. And now the # goes straight to vm bc the switchboard is on east coast time.

How have only 16 minutes passed since i wrote that. This is like waiting for score release. My license # and exp date are still showing n/a on mycpalicense. Calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean…

Edit: @jsmtb, you got your email about board approval on a Wednesday?

@awilson you met the deadline and yet you aren't even past qa? You're making me feel better (i am not the only application not yet approved so they are aware). Thank you for posting.

The email I got Wednesday said my application was approved and the license information would be transmitted to the board. As of tonight my information shows up on Dora. I haven't received any other emails yet…

Thank you! I thought the email you got in 6/17 was that you passed qa and th e 6/24 email was the approval by the board?
