My office is in VA, but we have another office in MD that is pretty close and in terms of the team I’m on the two offices are basically interchangeable (we have the same clients and all work together it basically just depends on where you live for which office you’re out of). I currently live in DC but work out of the VA office. I think I’ve realized I will ultimately end up in MD so I think having my license in MD will be more beneficial (in terms of mileage reimbursement, etc).
I have yet to pass any part but hopefully that will change Jan 6. I have NTSs for all 4 exams, and I have done everything through the VABOA. Is it possible to change it and ultimately get my license out of MD instead?
The reason I ask is one of the managers on my team started in VA and now lives in Maryland and mentioned having issues switching.
Let me know if you have any advice!
Thanks
