Hi everyone. As you can tell from my screen name, I live in Wisconsin! I took the FAR exam (my first section) on 7/10 and then took AUD on 8/14. I plan to take REG next in October and BEC in November. I have read that Wisconsin is slow to release scores, but I’m confused about that. Does Wisconsin wait until all of the scores are in for Wave 1 and then release all of the Wave 1 scores together, or does it wait until all of the scores are in for Waves 1 AND 2 and then release them all together?

I have to say that in this whole exam process, the release of scores has not been communicated clearly, and I was surprised that no information was provided upon exam completion as to approximately when/how scores are released from Wisconsin. I don’t even know if I will receive anything in the mail or not. I know I can log into NASBA and check for my scores, but when? It seems ridiculous that we put so much effort and time into studying (not to mention cash!), and we are left to wonder and wait about scores. I’m trying to decide whether to go ahead and schedule the next exams when I have not yet learned about passing these, because if I didn’t pass, I want to retake those as soon as possible. It’s hard to plan ahead without knowing. And, we’re all in this 18-month pressure cooker to pass all sections.

I know I’m preaching to the choir, but with the available computerized technology, I would sure like to see an improved grading and score release system.

WisconsinCPA2be – Thanks for the info. I haven't received any score releases yet, so I have no reference for the jurisdiction number. Does the whole state have the same number?

I've tried the loophole and I've always gotten the message that “all exams are in process”. Oh well. But I've hit that point where I've started dreaming that I've failed which is rather depressing. It would be nice to be surprised and have WI post scores early next week to end the misery!

MissCue – Have you contacted NASBA to find out whether or not they've received your score for FAR? Also, I see you scored really well on REG. I'm working on that section right now. Did you use Becker, and do you have any tips?

    Thanks,

I did call NASBA and they do have my score, that's one of the reasons why I'm frustrated with the loophole.

I don't really have any tips with Reg – I work in Tax, so that helped a lot for preparing. I did use Becker – all I did was probably over study as it was my first exam. I just did the lectures, read the material and did TONS of MQ questions.

MissCue – Thanks, and I bet working in the field was a big help for REG. I do hope we're pleasantly surprised with scores released early this week.

varhej68 – Hopefully we all passed! Wouldn't that be something?

When exactly would the loophole work for Wisconsin? It is after the AICPA has released scores to NASBA, but before NASBA has uploaded them. Or do we know that NASBA has uploaded them (since they told us they have our scores) but just not released them?

    https://www.nasba.org/nasbaweb/OACPA.nsf/UL?OpenForm

When I try the above loophole it says “All or some sections of your NTS have been attended but scores have not been received”, even though NASBA has told me several times that they have received my score. So does that mean the Ohio Loophole will not work yet?

Do you think my score was pushed to wave two even if NASBA told me they had my score early last week?

I am SO frustrated right now.

I need to register for the next two sections of the exam, and I went online to the Wisconsin/NASBA area to register as a re-exam candidate. I had hoped to hold off scheduling until I know whether or not I passed FAR, but I want to get scheduled for October, and I don't think I can wait any longer.

So I'm thinking that re-registration will be a snap compared to the first-time application process. Wrong. When I tried to reregister, the site was down. Then, it finally came back up, and I learned that I need a jurisdiction ID number in order to register again. I looked everywhere on my confirmations, etc., and nowhere is this mysterious jurisdiction number printed. Finally, I notice in small print online that the jurisdiction ID number is printed on the score release report, as someone mentioned here. What score release report? I don't have a score release report for the two sections I've taken yet, even though everyone else in every other state already has theirs.

I was able to click on a link to send an e-mail requesting the jurisdiction ID number, and I did that, but no response back! Then, it seemed like maybe I could use my Social Security number instead, but then it wouldn't accept that either. I worked 14 hours today and had no time to make phone calls.

Why does this process need to be this way?

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

I know what you mean Jan. I ended up having to stretch this whole process to about a year. I never really wanted to start preparing for the next exam until I knew whether or not I passed the exam I just took. It is really frustrating that this process is so drug out. Having an 18 month window to pass exams before they start lapsing and then having only 4 testing windows is back enough without waiting a month at least for your scores to come out.

    FAR - 86, REG - 93, AUD - 87, BEC - 86

    hm890 – I took FAR on 7/10, and I still don't have a score – almost two months later.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)
