Hi everyone. As you can tell from my screen name, I live in Wisconsin! I took the FAR exam (my first section) on 7/10 and then took AUD on 8/14. I plan to take REG next in October and BEC in November. I have read that Wisconsin is slow to release scores, but I’m confused about that. Does Wisconsin wait until all of the scores are in for Wave 1 and then release all of the Wave 1 scores together, or does it wait until all of the scores are in for Waves 1 AND 2 and then release them all together?

I have to say that in this whole exam process, the release of scores has not been communicated clearly, and I was surprised that no information was provided upon exam completion as to approximately when/how scores are released from Wisconsin. I don’t even know if I will receive anything in the mail or not. I know I can log into NASBA and check for my scores, but when? It seems ridiculous that we put so much effort and time into studying (not to mention cash!), and we are left to wonder and wait about scores. I’m trying to decide whether to go ahead and schedule the next exams when I have not yet learned about passing these, because if I didn’t pass, I want to retake those as soon as possible. It’s hard to plan ahead without knowing. And, we’re all in this 18-month pressure cooker to pass all sections.

I know I’m preaching to the choir, but with the available computerized technology, I would sure like to see an improved grading and score release system.

How long does it usually take to get the score in the mail? Are they sent out before the online scores are released?

    BEC - 08/12/10 - 85
    FAR - 10/01/10 - 84
    AUD - 10/30/10 - 81
    REG - 11/30/10 - 85

varhej68 – That's a good question. Someone above posted that WI mails the scores 3 – 5 days after they are released online.

Last window, the scores for WI were posted about 1 week AFTER all other score releases ended. Assuming they finished yesterday, I would **GUESS** by late next week.

Varhej68, it took some time for me to receive the letter in the mail. I would say about 2 weeks-ish after it was posted online.

CPAJD – Thanks so much for sharing that. As a first-timer, I would have no idea what to expect were it not for this forum and the connection with others. I was really hoping we might find out our scores late tonight, since the last were released a couple of days ago. I have to stay focused on REG right now.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

NASBA just released more REG and FAR scores, so hopefully by this time next week Wisconsin will have released the scores from Wave 1. Fingers crossed everyone!

    REG - 87; BEC - 80; AUD - 69, 79; FAR - 70, 80

Well, that must be the end of this wave, I would think. So, hopefully in a week guys! I will post when I find out my FAR score, and I hope you'll return too.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

Geneva just emailed me back and said wave 1 scores will be out next week. I really wanted her to confirm if my score was in wave 1 or 2 and she said she couldn't so that. That sucks! NASBA told me I was in wave 2, but a lot of people were told that and they were wrong. I have taken 6 other tests and they decide on my last one to stick me in wave 2, errr!

Rehm – Thanks for sharing Geneva's response. At least we shouldn't have to wait until after Labor Day. Man, it's gotta be hard to wait for your last one like this, but think of it this way, with how things are going for Wave 1, you won't be waiting that much longer for Wave 2. I'm kidding, of course. Let's hope NASBA told you incorrectly.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

well it seems the scores are getting lower and lower as they release more for wave 1, so maybe I should be happy I'm in wave 2 🙂

NASBA told me that WI scores wouldn't be out til all of the wave 1 AND wave 2 results were out. The lady asked me which state and then wouldnt even look to see if I was in Wave 1 or 2 because she said it didn't matter.

So…. either we wont get scores til like October, or NASBA reps are hopelessly misinformed. Either way, that sucks.

Passed BEC, waiting on FAR and AUD, take REG on Tuesday. Joy. Not.

Second wave of anger hit me.

You know, for an exam that cost me over a grand to take, you think they'd have a little bit better customer service. What's the “application fee” for, Geneva? It does not cost $1000 for them to administer me these stupid tests.

Does anyone know if the loophole works for WI? I already passed audit in April. I took FAR 8/12/10 and NASBA has told me they have my score. I cannot register for AUD or FAR through the Ohio Loophole, but the oasis tells me “you do not have an active application or registration at this time”. What does that mean?

    Paper Exam May 2002; AUD 62, LPR, 63, FAR 49, ARE 70
    Paper Exam Nov 2003; AUD 72, LPR, 72, FAR 67, ARE 71
    CBT 2010; AUD 83 FAR 76 BEC 78 REG 73,(2/28/11 NTS # 446) 75 and DONE!

yes…the loophole has worked for me in the past. I also got that message, but i believe it was because i did not have an active NTS outstanding, once i signed up for the exams i hadnt taken yet, the message changed

Pluto – I feel the same way about the exam cost and then lack of service. It is very expensive and very time consuming to prepare for it. Were it not for these forums, I'd really be in the dark about the whole thing.

WisconsinCPA2be – I'm really thinking the Ohio loophole works for Wisconsin. You probably passed FAR. AUD is grayed out because you passed that already. If you don't have another NTS outstanding right now since you already sat for the two sections, that would explain the OASIS message. My loophole results are exactly like yours – two boxes grayed out (FAR and AUD) because I sat for those two sections, and no other “in process” message in Ohio. I haven't checked the OASIS thing though. I took AUD on 8/14, and NASBA does not have my score for that yet.

Can you please tell me how you found your jurisdiction number though? I have looked on every WI document I can find, and none of them have any type of jurisdiction number.

I found my jurisdiction number on my paper score release for Audit.
