I just passed all sections of the CPA exam and I’m in the process of submitting my paperwork to the state board for approval. I owe the state for the 2015 tax return and still has not paid it. I have not received any notice forms from the state and it’s been past due. I owe around $900 and was going to do a monthly payment once I received the notice. Will the past due tax liability hinder the approval of my license?
Thank you!
