California- Recent NTS wait time?

I sent a reapplication for subsequent exams to CBA about 2 weeks ago (already been approved for initial application), and I received notice that check was received 3 days ago. I’m really hoping I can schedule my AUD exam during this testing window. So I would need it to be approved in the next 3-4 weeks or so.

Does anyone know what the wait time has been for reapplications recently?

I sent my reapplication in early January and it took about three weeks for the CBA to finally approve it. I think you'll be able to take it this window, just keep studying hard and hope you find an available seat once you finally receive that email from CBA.

My initial application took 5 weeks, you should be good.

They are really slow. Those guys in Sacramento are lazy as hell. Maybe it's because of the Q2 changes and everyone trying to take it so they're backed up, but it also almost took 2 weeks for them to mark my application as payment received. Still think that is ridiculous no matter how many applications are going in. The process is simply archaic. It's about time a re-applicant is allowed to be able to pay and schedule their exam within 1-2 days rather than 2-3 weeks.

I agree. The California Board of Accountancy is very, very slow in their approval process. Just keep checking your e-mails for the various approvals. Goodluck.

Could be that becuause it is such a populous stare. But that's still sucks, especially if its a reapplication.
I apply through the State of Nevada and I get my NTS in about 24 hrs

Wow really? 24 hours within the time they receive your remittance fee?

Crazy enough I got an email for approval a few hours after posting this. So for anyone wondering the same thing, my reapplication took 2 weeks.

It's always taken me about 4 weeks to get an NTS. 5 max like someone else above mentioned. And you always have people rescheduling their tests last minute, so you are usually able to then schedule with Prometric for a date within a week of getting your NTS. I've successfully done that in a pinch.
