I’m licensed in CA through the old pathway (extra units not required). But I’m planning to move to Texas and that state does require the extra units. Does this mean that I’ll need to take extra units to become a CPA in Texas? Also, California requires only 24 semester units of accounting while Texas requires 30 upper division semester hours in accounting above the principles level. I already took the exams and passed. Would this rule still apply to me? Thanks!
