Hi all, How much time normally it takes for CA board to issue license to out of state applicant. Suppose CA board receives all the required documents by Dec 31, 2013. I am curios as it stated that for early fingerprint process out of state applicant should apply 4 months before, does it mean for out of state it takes 6 months. 4 months for fingerprint 2 months for rest of the process. Plz share your experiences.

Even more awesome choice! Lol. That's my dream place to live as well! With a beach front. A girl can dream πŸ™‚

Unfortunately the traffic there is terrible so it stops me from moving down there…. 30 min commute each way is the best I can do.

I was just licensed this past November as an out of state applicant (currently reside in Nevada). From the moment they actually received all of my paperwork and sent me a note indicating so, I'd say it only took about 4-5 until my name showed up in the database with a CPA license number.

I had already sent in my fingerprint results about 5-6 months prior to that, and I actually just drove to California and did the live scan there because I thought it would go smoother.

Live Scan is so cool! I can't believe other states don't have it!

I had to get fingreprinted for the TSA-Pre Check and they have this scanner on which you put all 4 fingers at once to scan! How cool is that! Before I had it done one by one. I can't believe the amount of fingerprinting I had done in this country! LOL

PS. And I have NO criminal record! πŸ˜›
