Well, NASBA is saying a couple more hours. So hopefully, it will be a couple more hours for California, as well.

I'm still not convinced that Nasba score release has anything to do with California. When I called Nasba, a supervisor told me that California already had the scores. And that was last Friday. I don't know what to think. But if the "direct feed" or whatever has some connection with their "IT issues" then maybe it will fix it, I don't know.

I've called the BOA a couple times this morning, no answer.. Lovely.

Well, it's CA BOA's own problem, then that's not so good of news. At lease NASBA fixed their problem. I took BEC and FAR last window for the first time, and I am already exhausted during the score release process. Is it like this every testing window, or is this an unusual case?

california, unfortunately, yes. There is always uncertainty, and at least the last two waves have had "technical" isues…which makes it frustrating.

But other states have already gotten their scores? How did they get them?

the states that are getting them are not NASBA states, so they can release whenever they want.

They said they release score individually and it will be completed by the end of the month. That was a BS answer I think the way wanted to get rid of me.

The CA BOA website has "Customer Satisfaction Survey" and "File a Complaint" links on the side…it is tempting.

WTF the end of sept is in 9 days!!! If I have to wait 9 days I will be certified!

I called CA to see what was different about this wave vs other waves when CA was first to release.

Apparently, CA gets their scores from NASBA and then releases via their own site.

SO – the IT issues could be responsible for this.

I don't know if I'm spreading mis-information or not…just passing this on.

I thought all along that the AICPA releases to CA, but the rep at CA said that this is not the case…NASBA injects the scores into CA's IT system.

Thanks a lot, Jeff! I feel a little relieved. Now all we need to wait for is NASBA releasing the scores. Hopefully, that CA BOA rep knew what s/he was talking about.(fingers crossed…)

Thanks Jeff. So, did the Cal rep seem like he was aware that there was an issue with the score being released from Nasba this wave?

I'm just wondering if anybody actually cares enough to say "Hey, we haven't gotten the scores from Nasba yet, let's see what the holdup is" Because what if Nasba gets their website upload fixed but still this "link" between CA BOA and Nasba is still screwy. Is anybody inquiring about that? Seems to me like you just get referred to the other agency no matter who you call, no one is taking any responsibility.

At this point, I wish I was a Nasba state, because at least they're getting some kind of update on it. Somebody somewhere is working on it, ya know?
