    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this thread and about to start studying for the CPA in a couple days. Right now I just want to make sure I don’t run into any speed bumps later down the line.

I have heard that taking an auditing class is a requirement in some states in order to sit for the CPA exam or to become licensed? I live in California and have already graduated, but I did not take any auditing classes. Can anyone please clarify this. Thanks!

It would be best to contact your state board for the requirements, most have the requirements listed on their websites. There are some members here from California so maybe they can answer.
