After passing the exams, how exactly does the application process work? (CA)

I’m asking this because when I initially applied to sit for the exams, they said one of my classes didn’t count. I argued it, gave them my syllabus and a bunch of info and they allowed the class, and I was given my notice to schedule.

So I’m working my way through the exams now and they way I’m scheduled, I’ll hopefully pass in December before the 2014 changes in California. My concern is that when I apply for licensure, they are going to decline this class again and I will not be able to argue it before 2014.

Does anyone know exactly how the application process work? Are they going to review the education requirements again? Any other pointers I should be aware about?

I’m working hard to pass by 2014 and it will be so frustrating if I don’t get my license just due to a technicality.

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate
    Beat the 12/31/13 clock!

I just went through the application process and I didn't have to send my education information again. I don't think they review it again unless something changed, or if you needed the extra credits now. But I am not totally sure about that. You have to get your Livescan fingerprints and get a passport photo taken then send in your work experience form, criminal conviction form, and the acutal application with the photo attached. And you of course have to pass the Ethics Exam as well.

    FAR- 70, 68, 90
    AUD- 72, 85
    REG- 74, 83
    BEC- 81
    ETHICS- 90

That's a difficult question to answer. Each state has its own forms and processes. You can probably find the requirements by going to your state AICPA website and hunting around. Good luck!

    AUD: Attempt 1: 60; Attempt 2: 78
    BEC: Attempt 1: 75 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 80
    FAR: Attempt 1: 74; Attempt 2: 74; Attempt 3: 78
    REG: Attempt 1: 76 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 68; Attempt 3: 80

    Finished 11/01/2013!!!
