About a week and a half ago I sent out my CPA License Application. I just realized that I accidentally sent it to NASBA rather than the Massachusetts State Board of Accountancy. Has this ever happened to anyone? If so, what happened to your application? I tried calling NASBA today but they are closed due to the MLK holiday. Freaking out a little bit so figured I would ask here while I’m waiting to call back tomorrow!

Typically, situations like this are reported to law enforcement. If it's already been a week and a half, they have probably already gathered what they need to make an arrest. Enjoy jail. HA HA HA

I'm sure it's fine. They will either send it all back to you or put it in the shredder when they realize they can't cash your check.

I would cancel the check. You would be very surprised at how easy it is for a company to cash a check that doesn’t belong to them (due to large volume and not paying attention).
