Hey everyone, brief question. I have 147 credit hours and I am taking my last 3-credit hour course right now before I start work in the fall. Does anyone know if we have to achieve a certain grade (D, or C, etc) in the class for the credit hours to qualify? For example, the class i am taking now i am completely blowing off because 1) its at a school different from my undergrad so there are no ramifications for my GPA, 2) My academic and studying efforts all go towards the CPA prep, and 3) after cramming a 150-hour plan into four years of college, I really don’t care anymore, I’ve graduated already. Thanks for the help!

I'm sure at least a “D” is required. It probably varies from state to state, but anything below a “D” isn't good for anything. I haven't heard of a state requiring all “C” and above, though. I'm assuming that this is a non-accounting class – if it is something specifically required (rather than just extra credits), they might have stricter rules.

If you haven't already enrolled in the class (or if it's early enough that you could drop it and get a refund), people on here have a lot of ideas for easy and/or cheap extra credits. Some are P/F so you don't have to worry about grades; others are just really quick and easy! So, if you're not already financially committed to this class, and don't feel like you have time to study well enough to get a good grade, we can point you in the direction of some easier ways to get your 3 credits. 🙂

as long as you get credit for the class, it counts toward the 150. I believe most classes a D will count.

    BEC - 84, 4/6/13
    AUD - 77, 5/28/13
    REG - 83, 4/12/14
    FAR - 83, 10/3/13

    Ethics - 90% 4/24/13
