150 Credits?

    I took AUD last month in my first attempt at an exam. I currently have 132 credits and will obviously need to get to 150. My question is when i have to get to 150 credits by? If i pass all 4 exams, do I have unlimited time to get to 150 and still become licensed or do I have to get to 150 within the 18 month scoring window? I am located in Maryland

    It's definitely not 18 months but I don't believe it's unlimited. I think you have 5 years for the employment experience I don't know if it's the same for Credits. Also if you have excess college credits that didn't transfer (if you started at a college) they would count too.

    Depends on your state. I know for Florida, you have 36 months to meet all of your requirements. Otherwise, you have to take your CPA exam again. And for South Carolina, there is currently no time limit if you pass all 4 sections. But if you do not complete your other requirements in 36 months, then you have to meet a lot more CPE credits before you get your license.

    For most states your CPA exam scores do not expire. You have unlimted time to meet the rest requirments. However, CPE might come in your way.
