A board member on my state’s board told me that any time someone has asked for an extension they have given the candidate an extra 6 months without letting any exam scores lapse. I had never heard of this before and figured it would help people out. He said the board gets fewer than 10 requests for this a year. I just wanted to share since I have never heard anyone on these boards talk about it.

The girl is a german shepherd mix. If she doesn't get her way she bitches, loudly. My bf says we have that in common. She is a fiesty little shit but I still love her…not as much as the boy though 🙂

AKB its funny you should mention that about the girl. My first dog was a male and he and I were BFF's (for the very short time I had him, I am partial to elderly dogs). Then we got a female. I LIKE her but I don't LOVE her. So I got another male. He is always in my lap. All 65 lbs of him.

with GSDs you get what you pay for. Although I posted the ad so people could see pics I do know this lady. She breeds GREAT dogs. GSDs have been bred with a super slopey back for the last 15 or so years. The result is a ton of hip dysplasia and other early onset “wear and tear” type injuries. ACL repair surgery is $$$$$. Way more than a good puppy.

I used to do a lot with rescue GSDs so I know a bunch about what can go wrong with the breeding both physically as well as temperament wise- I guess thats what has made me a little picky. My younger male now lives in the boonies and protects “his” 8 year old kid. Perfect situation for everyone, but he was a nightmare in a lot of ways for me to have here. Unpredictable and pretty aggressive at times. When you get into the working line GSDs you really have to know what you're doing, otherwise you could end up with a tragic amount of the wrong drives at the wrong time, ie aggressive, fear biter, neurotic, etc.

Technically, the boy is my dog and the girl my bf's. We trade off who gets to pick the dog. I am partial to boy dogs. He is partial to females, period. Probably why he use to be a manwhore back in the day. He spoils her rotten! One day he was giving them treats and gave her an expensive bully stick and gave him a cheap milk bone. I got PISSED!! haha
