A board member on my state’s board told me that any time someone has asked for an extension they have given the candidate an extra 6 months without letting any exam scores lapse. I had never heard of this before and figured it would help people out. He said the board gets fewer than 10 requests for this a year. I just wanted to share since I have never heard anyone on these boards talk about it.

Mini has helped me out a lot too. I asked for some advice concerning my job situation. He was brutally honest on the consequences of my decision. I thought things over twice. I think he actually saved my job.

I used to have huskies. They were really smart. They could find a way out of any fenced enclosure we put them in. Even out of electric fences. Once they actually chewed the links off a chain link kennel to escape.

I fostered a husky once. It was the only dog I've ever met that I wanted to toss out of a moving car. I LOVE dogs, all dogs. Well except this one. She was 75 pounds of pure evil. She ended up finding a permanent home only to run away.

I have a friend that breeds mini-huskies. They are super expensive, but even she says they are like more evil versions of their bigger relative.

I'm a shar pei girl myself…..I had one that passed away and have 2 now. LOVE them!

My 2nd favorite is greyhounds but my husband thinks they're “ugly” (read: he's a bully dog kinda guy and shar pei is our compromise)

A mini husky? I will ask her. They are like 2500-3000 bucks a pop. and it will likely run away (after it bites you) when its grown.

Aussies are the superior shepherds, imo.

Also, shocked at the prices of those Germans. I always assumed that they were a relatively cheap breed. Are those standard prices, or are those coming from a super breeder or something?

Jenuno, you need a Shiba Inu. It's not a mini-husky. But it looks like one. It's the greatest dog EVER. It's very independent, clean and adorable. I have a tri-colored one – used to have 2. They are expensive – Japanese purebreds, but amazing. It's basically a small Akita, but everyone thinks it looks like a husky.
