In your state to ask about the progress (how longer do I have to wait) of them processing my application and then eventually getting my Payment Coupon? I still need NTS

I sent it on the 7th of this month. Almost a full 2 weeks now. Or, should I just keep waiting? I’m like basically done studying for AUD. I want to take AUD early November (tomorrow would be fine too) and then take BEC early December. I’m waiting for my grades for FAR. I’m bored as hell right now. I can’t do anything!

I want to chill, but I’m afraid 10 days of not re-studying/reviewing will make me forget about AUD. Keep studying? I guess I could do a few more simulated exams… Suggestions?

    FAR - 62 (10/2/13), 50 (5/30/14)
    AUD - 73 (10/30/13), 66 (5/6/14)
    REG - 69 (4/8/14)
    BEC - 66 (2/27/13), 73 (4/21/14)

Wow guys!!! I guess then NC Board of accountancy is the fastest to respond. I applied for all four exams before graduation and my application and nts was emailed to me the next business day with a condition that I have to submit the final transcript within 120 days of graduation.!!!!!!

    FAR: 90 MAY 6 2013
    AUD: 99 MAY 29 2013

Well, I tried calling them, twice. Both were answer machine messages. So I left one. 10 minutes later, I figured I might as well send an email asking about the same thing. It was to the same person and I did contact her before via email, so I think I'll get my answer soon. Once again, more waiting. ;(

When I first applied for my NTS, NASBA royally f***ed up my application. I tried leaving multiple (polite) voicemails to get the situation fixed, and the woman who handles my state (Geneva Mosley) refused to return my calls. Like your situation, I was also always directed straight to voicemail. She also only responded to one email per day, so something that could have taken five minutes to resolve over the phone ended up taking five days. In my experience, leaving voicemails for NASBA is utterly useless. Better off with the email…

@ barelystayingsane: Hmm, I've only called NASBA once and someone answered rather quickly. The call ended in less than 2 minutes and I got my answer. I'm pretty sure NASBA employee and Board of Accountancy are different, aren't they. Maybe I'll test NASBA when I have a chance to confirm 😉 I would call them about my test result, but I already know the answer to that question (Wait until release date)

Anyways, I got an email back:

    “Fabian,

I will be sending your ATT this week. If any issues arise I will let you know. Thanks -“

Short and sweet. At least I know it's not going to be next week. Yeah, I'm pretty went back into study mode again. I'm doing the Diagnosis Exams (more questions, more indepth). It's helping me identify my weaknesses. It's a good thing. When I remember all 1000 questions, i think I'm good enough. Then… move to sim mastering. 🙂

Whoops! My bad! I misunderstood, since in my state, you deal with all your application stuff through NASBA, not the Board. Yes, NASBA and the state boards are different. You're lucky you've had a good experience with NASBA! Whenever I call, I get some call center rep who clearly sounds like he or she hates his job and couldn't care less what your issue is. Then he routes you to the voicemail of the state coordinator because the rep can't be bothered to look into it himself, and you leave a message that never gets returned.

Good luck with AUD and BEC!!!
